🚁✝️ When Repentance Isn’t Enough: An ICU-Level Testimony of Deliverance

Where Faith Meets the Frontlines of the Soul

This video captures a moment from years ago when I laid out everything in my “spiritual toolbox”—certificates(ordination of spiritism, reiki master juat name a few), books, crystals, symbolism, my spiritism sash, and teachings I once believed would heal me that where created by the world.

When I encountered Jesus Christ, my heart was convicted to burn it all.

🔥 And I did.

What once filled my life with many "spiritual" tools was replaced with one:

📖 The Word of God, Scripture .

At the time, I thought that was complete healed of my past ways.

But what I didn’t yet understand…

👉 Was the missing piece.

This article tells that part of the story:

Deliverance.

🧠 The Analogy: When a Patient Doesn’t Know They’re Sick

As a flight nurse and critical care provider, I understand what it means when a patient is sick—but doesn’t know how sick they truly are.

At first, symptoms are subtle. They try to manage it at home.

They follow what the world prescribes:

  • Over-the-counter fixes

  • Quick remedies

  • Things that promise healing

But the condition worsens.

They go to a doctor. They’re given medications. They follow instructions.

Still… they don’t get better.

Eventually, they end up in the ICU.

Now the disease has a stronghold.

And it takes:

  • Intensive care

  • Advanced intervention

  • Skilled hands

  • Clinical precision

To pull them back from the edge.

Even after that—they are not instantly “normal.” They’re weak. Recovering. Healing. Relearning.

👉 This is the exact analogy I now understand when it comes to repentance and deliverance.

✝️ My Story — From Spiritual Sickness to Seeking

In 2019, I gave my heart to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I hit rock bottom.

I was very ill spiritually by following the ways of this world. What I thought I was doing was what the world prescribed.

They prescribed “medication” such as:

  • Meditation

  • Spiritual healing

  • Reiki

  • Yoga

  • Transcendental meditation

  • Past life regression

  • Guided imagery

  • Just to name a few!

Whatever it may be.

Prior to 2019, I implemented those practices for years —not realizing it was making me more spiritually sick and pushing me further away from the Lord.  I thought they were fixing what we call compassion fatigue, compassion burnout, PTSD that we experience in the healthcare field.

🚨 The Wake-Up Call — My Husband’s Injury

In 2019, my husband suffered a severe burn accident.

This wasn’t minor. This was critical.

The kind of injury that changes everything in an instant.

  • Severe burns

  • Life-threatening condition

  • The kind of trauma that puts someone on the edge of survival

As a nurse, I understood the severity.

I knew what critical illness looked like. I knew what it meant to fight for life. My husband who was always a believer of Jesus Christ was physically fitting for his life as I was fitting spiritually for mine.

And in that moment, I also realized something else:

👉 What I was doing spiritually… wasn’t working.

All the “medications” I had been using for years—all the practices I believed in—

👉 They failed me when it mattered most.

That was my wake-up call.

The evening, after his accident, in a state of confusion, I went home and cried out:

“Lord, please help me.”

And I heard clearly:

“Leave your ways—you are a child of God.”

Months before my husbands accident we had deep conversations of my spiritual practices. During those conversations I knew I had to stop practicing them! I didn't know why but I just had to. This is another testimony in itself of my journey and my husband’s belief in Jesus Christ.

That night after my husband’s accident the Lord commanded me to leave my ways for good!

🧎‍♀️ Repentance — The Turning Point

Over the course of several years, I repented.

Deeply.

I sought the Lord through Scripture—and it became my new medicine.

I repented of:

  • My sins and "spiritual" practices

  • Mediumistic practices

  • “Prophecy” and “healing” I had done

  • All involvement in that spiritual world

  • My ordination as a ordained minister of spiritism

I searched the Scriptures to understand:

  • My sinful nature

  • The disease process within me

Scripture is very clear of practicing of what looks healing in the eyes of this world is not of that of the Lord.

📖 Acts 3:19“Repent… and turn to God…”

🧹 Radical Removal (Like Clearing Infection Sources)

Just like in critical care—you don’t treat infection without removing the source.

So I removed everything from my home tied to that life:

  • Certificates

  • Tools of the trade

  • Crystals

  • Sage

  • Aromatherapy items

  • My ordination certificate as a spiritist minister

  • Books—especially teachings like Alan Kardec

  • Self-help materials rooted in self-seeking and pride

I burned them all.

🧠 The Initial Outcome

I felt good in the moment.

Like a patient who just received initial treatment.

But as time went on…

Something still wasn’t right. I was still being held captive.

🌌 The Closed Heavens — When Treatment Isn’t Enough

Even after repentance, I felt like the heavens were still closed over me.

I would cry out:

“Lord, Lord… why have You forsaken me? Why are the heavens closed?”

For years, I carried that.

And here’s the clinical truth:

👉 Some patients receive treatment…

👉 But the disease process is still active underneath.

I knew:

👉 There was a block

👉 Something wasn’t fully resolved

🧠 ICU Insight: Repentance vs Deliverance

This is where everything changed for me.

This was the part of my journey that I didn’t understand for years.

I thought repentance was everything. I thought if I just:

  • Turned away from sin

  • Read Scripture

  • Prayed more

  • Removed things from my life

👉 That I would be fully healed.

And while those things are absolutely necessary…

👉 They weren’t the full picture.

✝️ Repentance (Definition)

Repentance is:

Turning away from sin and turning toward God

📖 Acts 3:19

But repentance is deeper than just saying “I’m sorry.”

It is:

  • A recognition of sin

  • A conviction in the heart

  • A decision to change direction

  • A realignment with God

🧠 ICU Perspective on Repentance

Repentance is like:

👉 Recognizing the disease process

  • You identify what’s wrong

  • You stop the behaviors causing harm

  • You choose a new direction

It’s the moment a patient says:

“Something is wrong, and I need help.”

But here’s what I didn’t understand:

👉 Recognition does not always equal resolution.

🔓 Deliverance (Definition)

Deliverance is:

Being set free from spiritual bondage or strongholds

📖 John 8:36

Deliverance is when:

👉 What has a hold on you… is broken off of you.

🧠 ICU Perspective on Deliverance

Deliverance is like:

👉 ICU-level intervention

  • The patient is no longer just sick

  • The disease has progressed

  • It has taken hold

Now it requires:

  • Direct intervention

  • Power beyond the patient’s own ability

  • Something external to break the cycle

It’s the difference between:

  • Managing symptoms

    vs

  • Breaking the pathology

🚁 Putting It Together

  • Repentance = recognizing the disease + changing direction

  • Deliverance = ICU-level intervention that breaks the disease process

⚠️ What I Didn’t Understand

I repented.

I removed things.

I changed my life.

I sought God.

But I still felt:

  • Blocked

  • Heavy

  • Not fully free

Because what I didn’t understand was this:

👉 You can turn away from something…

👉 And still have something holding onto you

Just like in medicine:

  • A patient can stop harmful behavior

  • Follow instructions

  • Take medication

👉 And still deteriorate

Because something deeper is going on.

🧬 The Missing Link

Repentance addresses:

👉 Your direction

Deliverance addresses:

👉 What’s attached / what has a hold

And for me—

👉 Repentance started the healing

👉 But deliverance completed what repentance alone did not finish

🧭 Why This Matters for You (The Reader)

If you’re reading this and thinking:

  • “I’ve repented…”

  • “I’m trying…”

  • “I’m doing everything right…”

But you still feel:

  • Stuck

  • Bound

  • Not fully free

👉 You’re not crazy.

👉 You’re not failing.

You may simply be:

👉 Treating something that requires a deeper level of care

✝️ Anchor

📖 James 4:7

“Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Look at the order:

  • Submit = Repentance

  • Resist = Action / Authority

  • Flee = Deliverance outcome

🧠 Bottom Line

This is what I wish I understood years ago:

👉 Repentance is necessary

👉 But in some cases…

👉 It is not the final step

And for me—

👉 That was the moment everything changed.

🏥 Seeking Help — When Local “Doctors” Don’t Diagnose

Just like in medicine—you don’t stop at one opinion when something isn’t right.

I sought help locally.

I spoke to:

  • Pastors

  • Church leaders

  • Close Christian's

  • Even a priest

I brought forward:

  • My symptoms

  • My history

  • My struggle

But here’s the truth:

👉 They didn’t diagnose me.

Not because they didn’t care. Not because they weren’t called.

But because:

👉 Not every provider is trained in ICU-level care.

And spiritually?

👉 Not every pastor operates in deliverance.

Some will:

  • Avoid it

  • Not recognize it

  • Or not know how to treat it

Because deliverance is:

👉 Specialized

👉 Intensive

👉 Often misunderstood

Just like ICU medicine.

📱 The Search for the Right “Doctor”

So I kept searching.

Scrolling. Praying. Seeking.

For over a year—maybe more.

I would come across:

  • Pastors

  • Women preachers

  • Messages that hit emotionally

  • Even personal conversations in bible study groups

But they didn’t go deep enough.

🙏 Discernment in the Search

I would ask the Lord:

“Is this the one?”

And I would hear:

“No… don’t reach out.”

Again and again.

Until one day:

“In due time—you will find.”

🧠 Clearing the Mind — Preparing for Treatment

During this time, I removed anything that clouded my mind:

  • Alcohol

  • Substances

  • Overindulgence

You would be surprised of what can cloud ☁️ your mind.

📖 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober-minded; be watchful…”

Being sober-minded was redefined and is a testimony in itself for another day.

And for the first time…

I began hearing Scripture with a clarity I cannot describe.

⚡ The ICU Moment — Deliverance

One evening, I was scrolling TikTok. Yes, TikTok.

Scripture was sitting on my chest, as I often do before bed.

I knew something was still blocked.

I could feel it the same way you feel when a patient isn’t right—when the numbers don’t add up…when something deeper is going on beneath the surface.

I told myself:

Put the phone down and read Scripture.

I scrolled one more time.

And I came across Dr. Ricardo Watson a pastor out of St. Austine, FL.

As I listened:

  • My finger wanted to scroll

  • My mind tried to move on

But I heard clearly:

“No. Stay. You’ll see.”

So I stayed.

And what started as just another video…

👉 Became an ICU-level moment.

It was a deliverance session.

And as I listened—something began to shift.

Not emotionally.

Not mentally.

👉 Spiritually.

Dr. Ricardo Watson began guiding through deliverance—

But what was happening was far deeper than just words on a screen.

I felt it.

Like when a patient begins to respond after intervention—when something that was once unmovable… starts to break.

I dropped to my knees on the side of my bed.

And in that moment, I wasn’t watching anymore.

I was in it.

Everything in me that had been held…Everything that had been buried…Everything that had been clinging on for years—

began to come up and out.

I cried.

Deeply.

Not surface-level emotion—

👉 This was from a place I didn’t even realize was still bound.

There was a release.

A breaking.

A surrender that went beyond anything I had experienced in my years of repentance.

And in that moment—

👉 Jesus Christ delivered me.

Not a man.Not a method.Not a video.

God used Dr. Ricardo Watson to guide—

But it was Jesus Christ who set me free.

📖 “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

It felt like:

  • Chains breaking

  • Pressure lifting

  • A weight I had carried for years… gone

  • Set free from a prison

  • The Heavens opening

Like a patient who finally responds after aggressive intervention—

👉 When the airway opens

👉 When perfusion returns

👉 When life comes back into the body

That’s the only way I can describe it.

This wasn’t just relief.

👉 This was restoration

And for the first time—

👉 There was peace

Not temporary.

Not emotional.

👉 Real. Deep. Lasting peace.

The kind I had been searching for…

For years.

And in that moment—

Everything made sense.

The sickness. The searching. The repentance. The block.

👉 And the need for ICU-level intervention.

✨ The Outcome — Life Restored

It has only been a week.

And I am still speechless.

The peace I searched for all those years…

I finally found it.

I was spiritually sick—

And didn’t even realize how deep it went.

🚁 ICU-Level Truth

Some patients:

  • Need basic care

  • Need medication

  • Need education

But some patients…

👉 Need the ICU

Some believers:

  • Repent

  • Pray

  • Read Scripture

And still feel:

👉 Bound

👉 Blocked

👉 Sick

Because:

👉 Some conditions require deliverance-level care

🧭 My Testimony to You

If you declare Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—

Please hear me:

👉 You may still be spiritually sick

👉 You may still be bound by things you don’t even recognize

Seek Him.

Ask for discernment.

Stay in Scripture.

Because I promise you:

👉 He is guiding you

👉 He was guiding me

And when the time came—

He brought me exactly where I needed to be, in a TikTok live with Dr. Ricardo Watson for deliverance.

🩺📱 Resource — When You Need ICU-Level Spiritual Care

If you have read this testimony and feel like something deeper is going on—like you’ve done the right things, but something still isn’t breaking—I want to encourage you to take the next step.

First, seek care locally. Reach out to a trusted Christian congregation, pastor, or church leadership and ask about support, prayer and deliverance specifically. You may get support and prayer locally as I did but not always the deliverance you may need.

If deliverance ministry is available, pursuing it in person can be incredibly powerful—just like in medicine, where hands-on, direct care often provides the most immediate intervention.

But if you are like me—where that level of care was not readily available, or after seeking you found that the need was not recognized or addressed—do not stop there.

Continue seeking.

That is where I was led to Dr. Ricardo Watson and his ministry.

His ministry focuses on deliverance, spiritual freedom, and helping those who feel bound in ways they cannot break on their own.

📖 Their mission reflects this clearly:

Demonstrating the Kingdom, power, and glory of God through healing and freedom by Jesus Christ for those who are oppressed.

🚁 ICU Analogy — Why This Matters

In medicine:

  • Not every patient needs ICU

  • But some patients absolutely do

And if you treat an ICU-level condition with basic care—

👉 The patient will not get better

Spiritually, this is the same:

  • Many pastors provide incredible care

  • Many churches provide teaching, guidance, and truth

But deliverance—

👉 Is often a specialized area of ministry

⚠️ Deliverance Is Not Surface-Level Care

Deliverance should not be taken lightly.

It is:

  • Involved

  • Intentional

  • Spiritually intense

  • Rooted in addressing deeper levels of bondage

According to this ministry’s own teaching:

👉 Deliverance is needed when someone is unable to break free from a bondage—whether mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual

That means:

  • It’s not for everything

  • It’s not casual

  • It’s not surface-level

👉 It’s targeted intervention for deeper conditions

🧠 Clinical Translation

Think of it this way:

  • Primary care = general spiritual guidance

  • Step-down unit = discipleship and growth

  • ICU = deliverance-level intervention

And just like in critical care:

👉 You don’t assign ICU lightly

👉 But when it’s needed—you don’t ignore it

🧭 Final Thought on This Resource

Dr. Ricardo Watson’s ministry provides:

  • Structured deliverance teaching

  • Prayer-based intervention

  • Resources designed to help people find freedom

Including what they describe as:

👉 One of the largest online deliverance programs available, built from years of ministry experience and focused on helping people walk in freedom

✝️ Important Anchor

While God may use people, ministries, and messages—

👉 Jesus Christ is the one who delivers

📖 John 8:36

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

🙏 Encouragement to the Reader

If you feel:

  • Stuck

  • Bound

  • Like something deeper is going on

Don’t ignore it.

Seek the Lord.

Ask for discernment.

And if needed—

👉 Seek the right level of care.

Because just like in the ICU—

👉 The right intervention can save your life.

🙏 Closing Blessing

📖 Numbers 6:24–26

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you peace."

If you have read this far, I want you to know something:

👉 You are not here by accident.

👉 You are not too far gone.

👉 And you are not beyond healing.

The same God who met me in my lowest moment…

The same God who saw me when I didn’t even fully understand how sick I was…The same God who guided me step by step, even when I felt like the heavens were closed—

👉 He sees you too.

If you feel:

  • Stuck

  • Bound

  • Spiritually exhausted

  • Like something just isn’t right

Please don’t ignore it.

Just like in medicine—when something feels off, when the symptoms persist, when healing isn’t happening the way it should—

👉 You keep seeking until you find the answer.

Seek Him.

Open Scripture.

Pray honestly.

Ask for discernment.

Because I promise you:

👉 He is guiding you

👉 He is speaking to you

👉 He has not left you

And when the time comes—

👉 He will meet you exactly where you are

👉 He will bring the right help into your path

👉 And He will restore what feels broken

Not halfway. Not temporarily.

👉 Completely.

I am living proof that:

👉 What feels like a closed

heaven… can open

👉 What feels like a stronghold… can break

👉 What feels like sickness… can be healed

And if He did it for me—

👉 He can do it for you.

May you walk in truth. May you walk in freedom. May you walk in the peace that only comes from Jesus Christ.

In Jesus Christ’s name,

Amen
